I cannot recommend this preschool enough. They are fantastic and so knowledgeable and friendly. They do some wonderful things within the community and organise some brilliant things for the children all throughout the year. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this nursery – it’s truly exceptional! I’m now on my third child here, with two already successfully thriving at school thanks to the amazing start they had. And our fourth? She’s already on the list for when she turns two — I wouldn’t dream of sending her anywhere else! From day one, the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure each of my children felt safe, nurtured, and constantly engaged. We’re kept completely up to date with everything — from daily updates to those special little moments — and that communication makes such a difference. The experiences they offer are just incredible. Woodland walks, park adventures, watering vegetables at the allotment — it’s like a childhood dream! The staff are so much fun, so kind, and so dedicated. It’s activity after activity, always stimulating, always varied. My children have always come home happy, full of stories, and completely (happily!) exhausted. This nursery has been such a big part of our family’s journey, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Hound Owls Preschool are absolutely amazing. All the staff are so kind, caring and really take care of the children. My son has been going for 6 months & wow, he has settled in so beautifully & has come on leaps & bounds in these 6 months because these ladies have the biggest, kindest hearts. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done in this short period of time. It’s also a lovely touch what they do on every special occasion on the calendar, they also go for walks in the woods, play in the park, the fantastic list goes on. Our eldest daughter used to attend Hound Owls and now her younger sister attends the setting as well. We’ve had to deal with quite a few childcare providers operating in our area, so we have a good basis to compare Hound Owls against. Hound Owls have been the best by a long stretch. They have been providing outstanding care to our children while somehow also managing to be good communicators on administrative topics. Some other providers fall short when it comes to replying to e-mails, following up on conversations and helping parents navigate the world of childcare bureaucracy. The ladies at Hound Owls somehow manage to do it all and it really helps to reduce the demand on parents. The range of activities they provide for the kids is unmatched. They do forest walks, trips in the local area, maintain an allotment plot, proactively engage with the schools the children will be attending to facilitate an easier transition. The location allows them to make use of the big open space behind the building with its two playgrounds which really helps with physical development. Hound owls has to be the best preschool I have ever visited. Every single lady who works at the preschool is so lovely and approachable. I didn’t want to send my daughter to preschool due to not wanting to leave her with strangers but I trust this school whole heartedly. I would recommend hound owls to anyone and everyone 💝 Ps. Hound owls Preschool deserves far more than five stars if that were possible. From the moment you walk through the door, you're embraced in an atmosphere of warmth and genuine care. The staff are simply amazing – they are welcoming beyond measure, and just so incredibly friendly to every single child and parent who attends. It's clear they genuinely love what they do. My child absolutely adored going, and that's entirely down to the nurturing and positive environment the staff create. Their dedication to the children's well-being and development shines through in every interaction. We feel so lucky to be a part of the Hound Preschool family. We are so lucky to have this wonderful preschool on our doorstep! The team work so hard to give the children new experiences, from spending time with and singing to the elderly in local care homes to walks in the woods and even bus trips to meet Father Christmas! This week my daughter got to meet a team of firefighters, sit in their engine and even have a go with the hoses… she is learning so much, making lovely friendships and being looked after by the most fantastic people. So glad we chose Hound Owls for our 3 year old. She looks forward to going to preschool each day, it’s lovely seeing the friendships grow and her confidence too! The Hound Owls team are great and do some much for the kids and parents! Great staff & setting. Highly recommend.
